The
Lego Building Contest, sponsored by the Huntingdon Area Habitat
for Humanity, will be a fun and creative competition for children
ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. The event will take place at the Home & Garden
show on Saturday, March 15. Selected contestants will have 60 minutes
to complete their creation. All legos will be supplied, and each
contestant will have approximately the same set of Lego pieces.
Parents,friends or other family members will not be allowed to
participate or assist a contestant.
WHO: Ages 6-9 one contest; Ages 10-13 another contest. Limited to 20 contestants in each group. (Child must be appropriate age by 3-15-08)
WHEN: Saturady, March 15
Heat 1 – Ages 6-9
Registration – 11:00 to 11:30 AM
Competition – 12:00 to 1:00 PM
Awards – 1:15 PMHeat 2 – Ages 6-9
Registration – 12:30 to 1:00 PM
Competition – 1:30 to 2:30 PM
Awards – 2:45 PMHeat 3 – Ages 10-13
Registration – 2:00 to 2:30 PM
